Students need school to end earlier, because if not, the times conflict with outside and inside school clubs, alone time, family time, and homework which add more stress to a students life.

I liked the 7:50 start, we get out of school too late already so there is no time for extracurriculars. This year I had to miss a lot of class time for cross country and track meets which is bad for academics and if we make the start time later it will only get worse.

I literally can't do this I have volleyball at 4 and would have to leave school early 3 days a week.

No kid wants to wake up liek 20 min later just to stay in school till 4. Smh. Being a Student Athlete is hard specially when we get out late and when we get out late we will have morning and night practice which passively takes away starting late

High school students shouldn't have to go to school until 4PM. I don't know who this will benefit. What it won't benefit are after school activities and jobs that help students become well rounded people.

People have extra curricular activities after school that will majorly be affected by this new bell schedule, which isnt fair to them.

Although evidence supports the benefits of teens getting more sleep and starting school later, one needs to look at the whole picture. If the start time, is too late, it pushes after school activities and sports practices into the dark and causes students to miss too much class time to attend games.

High schoolers need that earlier start time and earlier ending for a variety of compelling reasons. I wish there was a solution that works for all age groups. However, with two in high school, I must advocate for our family's needs.

Very against start time changes, because they negatively impacts participation in sports and after school work. And because kids will spend too much time walking/bussing in the dark.

Against this for all the reasons noted in this petition. It's punitive on our students. If it passes how about a no homework on weekends school policy so student athletes and nonathletes can catch up if necessary, have some time to balance school with other interests and find time to recharge with friends and family!
