It's shameful how we've allowed girls bodies to be overtly sexualized , shaming them for having bodies while creating new ways to shame them but never teaching boys girls are fully human, deserving the sevdignity and respect bots get just for being male . It's beyond disgusting your refusal to teach and discuss rape and the continued issues of consent. This was a chance for teaching but instead you decided to shame girls as usual. Knees, shoulders and backs are not sexual triggers unless you teach the boys they are- you taugh the boys girls are only good for sex with your dress code - shameful .

Censorship of art?! Let the artist have her voice, and open a dialogue about consent and the sexualozation of the female body. Never would have been taken down if it were a boys back. This situation illustrates how deep the problem is. Good luck to the artist.

As a Susan E. Wagner HS alumna I could not be more proud of what these students are doing. Our high schools need to be teaching about consent and rape culture. In college, it may be too late for men and women to understand the rules of consent. Keep up the amazing work and Wagner teachers, maybe you should take this as a lesson and start incorporatin more discussions like these into your lessons.

Seen this report on NBC and was shocked that this caused so much controversy. This a beautiful display of addressing a horrible issue. We have been dealing with RAPE crimes for years, and the more positive light we have shined on this matter the better off our society is. I cannot believe that the school is ASSuming that with the picture students will now start to go against the dress code!!! Unreal. What happen to freedom of speech?
