If the face is not shown, and private parts are not photographed, it is not technically unlawful and therefore how can you tell from this piece that the girl is even underage? This is not child porn, this is art. There is a difference.

The excuse of the student model being underage in this instance is totally irrelevant; Not only is this image not sexual or revealing, but anyone of any age can be a victim of rape or sexual assault. Hiding work that causes discussion doesn't solve anything.

Shame on principal Giordano for his interpretation of school polciy to censor free speech on such an important topic, rather than encouraging further discussion. What example are you setting as a principal? The work should have never required revision. You should be ashamed.
