Please sign below to indicate that you wish to have the Urban Suburban program held to a community vote for the Spencerport School District.

As a member of the Spencerport Community, we will support any result of a community vote, for or against. We feel the only true way to know how a majority of the community feels is to hold it to a community vote.

Updates

February 18, 2015

The feedback I have received highlights a deep desire for more transparency regarding how these decisions affect our district. Many of you have reached out to share how essential it is that the community path forward reflects our collective input rather than just a top-down mandate.

February 18, 2015

The steady growth of this petition shows a genuine desire among our neighbors to have a direct say in local school policy. This level of engagement confirms that people truly value transparency when it comes to the future of our district.

U/S needs to be decided by a vote of the Spencerport School District residents, not the BOE.

It is obvious that members of the community are passionate about this so give us the right to vote.

Make them take up residency in our community and we will have no problem with it.

We need to vote on this issue. Failure for a vote should mean NO votes on budgets and all present board nembers.

We voted in each board member because we felt they would act on behalf of the community. So let the community decide which diretion it wants to go.

The board is hiding behind the 'you elected us to represent you' excuse. Since they have repeatedly stated they will not release the vote to the public, they are clearly not representing us. Perhaps it's time to initiate a petition for a recall vote of each board member.
