XXX Special Permission to Let William "Stone Cold Willow" Bolden Sit In the UK Student Section.

Should all "big fans" be allowed a student ticket and enjoy the priveleges that come with being a student without paying any tuition? Regardless of his own personal situation, stop giving handouts just because he likes UK. I like UK too, but I dont feel I deserve to sit in the student section with a low price ticket. If you want to be treated like a student, then be a student. Rules are rules. Quit complaining because you dont like them

Hey everyone, I'm glad to see other passionate fans in BBN. When I wrote the letter, it wasn't just based on my experiences; it was from many other students I've spoken with who have been attending games for a few years, too. I decided to write the letter and sign it as a representative of these students, and I was well prepared for some negative responses by fans. I defend my letter because we're talking about the Student Section, therefore the interests of the students are what matter in that case. And Rupp Arena had the option to ignore my email, but because they have received numerous complaints of similarity, they decided to look more closely at student ID's. I apologize to anyone who feels wronged by this. It was not intended to offend you, rather it was meant to stand up for the students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Willow shows more enthusiasm than 95% of the people in the student section anyway. Most want to be there just to look pretty and be seen, Willow actually cares about the team and their success.

I've known Willow for over 5 years. My Brother and I owned Game City 360 that was at Newport on the Levee in NKY. He used to come in every weekend and play sports games on our consoles. He would always challenge me to a college Basketball game, being that he is a DieHard UK fan and me Being a diehard UC fan. The Enthusiasm and compassion this man has for UK sports is unrivaled by most people in the very Arena he loves to cheer at. The City of Cincinnati loves him and as stated, he is an honorary member of the Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey Team. They let him carry the Kelly Cup and celebrate with the team when they won it all. He is a special individual, with obvious impairments/disabilities and deserves to have some special attention. He was always welcome in my store, as he is anywhere in town. I believe the least thing the University of Kentucky can do is to have some compassion and allow him to enjoy the UK games and experience at Rupp. It's the right thing and classy thing to do. Willow may make a select few people feel uncomfortable, but that is only because he approaches everyone as a friend even if he does not know them. This causes some socially immature and uncompasionate students to become uncomfortable around him, and his excentric and lively personality. This man lives for the UK community, and anyone who meets him can tell it means so very much to him. And from what I can tell the student community wants him to still be a part. Just let the man in the damn games, hes gonna bleed out he bleeds so much blue!

It's a college basketball game...give the guy a break. Plus people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I'm sure Mr. Dillion has used vulgarity a few times in his collegiate career at sporting events.
