XXX Special Permission to Let William "Stone Cold Willow" Bolden Sit In the UK Student Section.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Mr. William Bolden, but I'd be more than happy to meet him and hang out with him at a home Basketball game at Rupp Arena. I have always felt he is the #1 BBN fan. I do believe it's time for the jealous fans to back down and leave Mr. William Bolden, aka Stone Cold Willow, alone!

There are 20,000+ students of the University of Kentucky that would like the opportunity to sit in student seating. It was also discussed on John Clay's blog as to why the student section is declining in attendance -- all avoidable problems (location, timing, release, notification, etc...). If this gentleman wants to support the University of Kentucky Wildcats, please do so as an average citizen, not as a student. These prior arrangements listed (T Jones, J Wall, etc...) were acts of kindness by the aforementioned players. However, that does not constitute future "select" treatment by the University. There are over 4.3 million citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky that would also appreciate the opportunity to utilize student seating at these games, but are not given the opportunity (fear of lowering season-ticket holder value). Let him come to the games, partake in the festivities, but by definition he is not a student, so do not sit in student seating.

Stone Cold Willow should have an "honorary" seat and sit with the students! He is an inspiration for all of us at Big Blue Nation!!!!!

William Bolden is a huge part of big Blue Nation and you are hard pressed to find a bigger fan

So then why were you the one to write the letter? Why have the other complainants chosen to not do the same?

Wow. Never thought of it that way. Let's all just accept what we don't like, even if we might have a chance to change it.

And stepping on cell phones and feet? Really? What person in their right mind would put their phone on the ground in a student section. I believe this was a personal attack and you took the angle of Willow not being student which is understood; but don't call him out on things that other students are already doing. Every other student in that section is jumping up and down and using foul language. The student section gets criticized already for not being up to par to other programs and the little heart and soul it did have was yanked away.

I guess if you break the rules long enough you should be grandfathered in?
