Willow means no harm to anyone, he simply loves UK athletics and going to games is his true enjoyment in life. Some things addressed in the article/letter was that Willow's language is more than unacceptable. We are all grown, and there are no children in the student section. Why are Willow's curse words worse than the next?! Even my high school students know who Willow is! He himself is a legend! I can't help bit smile when we see Willow out and about. He is enjoyable to most. My real peeve is that the kid who wrote the letter to Rupp is just a jerk. I'm sure he once laughed at some crazy things Willow has said, but now what, Willow hit on his girlfriend once and this is payback?! Grow up and focus on your degree, which is why you're at UK; you're not there to control the Ezone!

Not fair to discipline one person for actions we allow in others. Make the right decision UK

Willow is a great dude... He is a giant ball of energy, but he means no harm! Uk athletics means the world to him and shouldn't be faulted for things beyond his understanding capability...

Even if you know nothing about Willow, Mr. Dillion's e-mail reads like a veiled attempt to single one person for the actions of many. Since the eRupption Zone started, students have encouraged to jump and scream throughout the game in an effort both cheer on the Wildcats and distract their opponents. As such, most people in those seats--not all are students, by the way, (talk to UK students many people have found their way into section even though they never attended a single class) spend the majority of the game jumping up and down, cursing and fraternizing with fans around them. This sounds like a sad attention grab from a pre-law student.

Having met and gotten to know William on a personal level; he exhibits all qualities of a true and loyal fan of this university's athletic program. He's treated like a brother within our offices. We make it our chief aim to do what we can [how we can] to help him out when an opportunity presents itself; be it through clothing him or making sure he's safe on his commute(s). He's a good kid; has some wild eccentricities [sure] but if you judged a fish on its ability to climb a tree... that fish would live its whole life thinking it's inadequate and undersving. Fair is fair and this is, not [fair].

He can be wild at times, but he is a superfan and this is one of the small things that brings him joy. He comes from a tough life situations. He is my friend.

I'd prefer ya ban Nate Dillon for submitting this in the first place. Everyone in BBN knows who Willow is, and I seriously doubt Mr. Dillon could get 50 people in the Big Blue Nation to agree with his views.

This Nate Dillon clown seems like a real jerk. There needs to be more pople like willow out there. Have a heart and let him back in where he belongs.

Please allow William "Willow" Bolden to sit with the other students for the UK games. I've known William since he attended LTMS where my daughter attended. He was a great kid then and a gentle young man now. Who would be calm during a game?? Especially when their favorite team is winning.

I agree whole-heartedly with this petition. William Bolden is as harmless as they come. If you take the time to get to know him, you would see that he has one of the best hearts around. His enthusiasm is rare, and shouldn't be stifled by one fan. He brings so much life to the student section, please don't allow Nate Dillon to change that.

So its ok if he bounces and yells around old people but not students ? SMH
