Yes it will be a great help another to slow people near the crosswalk at Macs. I have crossed there and waved the flags and people dont all stop and go fast

With changes in speed limits in various areas on any given highway, I’m certainly guilty of not always seeing the signs. These flashing radar signs have seem to be the most effective of getting a driver’s attention. I’m not sure how the village may not have the budget for it, but that’s a different matter worth looking into.

A solution is needed. I drive 15 mph through town and still find myself slamming on my brakes for pedestrians on sidewalks and in crosswalks. They are not well lit or marked. The crosswalk entrances are hidden by parked cars making pedestrians not visible to oncoming drivers. On winter evenings the situation is compounded; everyone is wearing dark colors; the lighting is poor; crosswalks are not marked or entrances visible. I support a solution
