Final supporters
We want Somerset County Council to know we want to keep a REAL library, the high quality professional support we get now - the lively accessible environment in the middle of our village that is a life line for so many residents.
There is a file of background information in the Community Information Centre together with a list of people willing to volunteer - drop in and sign up!

The County Council is still ignoring our requests for a formal meeting about the future of our library. Email your local representative today to demand they keep our professional librarians on staff. Total madness closing this place. Its the heart of the village and we use it every week for computer access.
KEEP IT OPEN. We need our librarian, she knows exactly what books we like and helps us with everything.
My kids love the story time here. We dont have a car so walking to the village library is the only option.
Volunteers are great but they cant replace professional staff and the proper loan network. Bad idea Somerset council.
This library is a lifeline for us honestly. Please dont take it away.
