This happened in Glastonbury then, in Bridgwater. It was much needed in both those towns and now, more than needed on the South Somerset Federation in Ilminster.
The town of Ilminster residents and visitors are the most dedicated to Carnival I have ever seen. What is wrong with keeping a great tradition alive and, showing off some Great Talent we have in every entry we see, every year.

A Carnival park for the South Somerset area is urgently needed to ensure that these important and greatly beneficial community events continue for future generations.

Do not kill another town tradition that not only many enjoy, but a celebration of the towns history and one of the towns prides and main attraction.

Lets make this happen please. Carnivals are an important part of our heritage. If they go, they will probably go forever. More than enough of our fairs & carnivals have already been lost, help us to keep what we have left!! Please sign, thank you.
