The beach is something people need to relax and exercise. What about people who work? When are they going to be able to go? Nights walking the beach are some of the best times of summer.

Families who pay taxes and live in this town should be able to enjoy access to the beach at all times. Evenings on the beach is part of our kids summer . If you’re not comfortable stay at home.

I've been very agreeable with every COVID19 rule the state has executed. Nope. Not agreeing with this local sanction. No gate. Beach closes a n hour after sunset or whatever its regular time was.

Hopefully this restrictive measure is temporary, there are times when I cannot get to the beach other than after 6pm.

Restricting early morning and nighttime beach goers will NOT prevent the spread of COVID. This is limited locals from an empty beach more than anything, not ok!

This gate that has been installed and the restricted hours is at it’s core a blatant discriminating policy. The owners of the RV’’s in Round Meadows do not pay any property taxes and now they have unrestricted access to what has become a after hours private beach for them and for those residents whose live in close proximity. While they are enjoying our beach then rest of us taxpayers will be on the outside looking in. We have every right to be on the other side of that gate.

One of the primary reasons we moved here was to be closer to the beach. I work in Providence and can never be home before 6. Beach evenings have been my time to unwind and meet up with friends. Please do not restrict my access to this beach in the evening or early morning hours.

This gate is stopping residents from fishing after hours...residents should be allowed to use the beach at their leisure!!!! This is a very sad decision for LC residents!!!!!!!

Aside from current precautions, I would hope the gate and 6 pm closure do not become permanent. The only time I usually visit the beach is late afternoon and later so it would mean one more resident who would lose access to the beach.

This gate is so unfair. We residents need to have parking access before the beach opens and after the beach closes. I will remember this decision when it is time to vote!
