Some of us working folks cant enjoy the beach until 6...so i guess my family and iwont be able to enjoy the beach.. the same beach ive gone to for over 40 years

I understand the need for the gate but PLEASE don't let the permanent gate become permanently used and locked. South Shore beach is the best beach to watch the sunrise and the best for evening cookouts with a few friends that can't enjoy the beach during the day.. Now that the issue of vandalism, over partying and littering are part of the reasons given for having the gate, as town resident I feel we can police the beach ourselves and let someone know when the rules aren't being followed so that those with the proper authority can remedy the problem before it gets out of hand.

Please allow us access to the beach in the evenings and permits for bonfires.

We need to be able to take a walk on the beach in the early evening if we want to.

You keep this up soon someone from out of town with big money will make the beach a private beach for them only..

Tell members of YOUR Beach Commission, NO PERMANENT GATE
