I can’t comprehend how this gate makes any sense at all. My mind was blown today when I saw this gate in front of me blocking my way to the beach. How can you take the coastline away from us. It’s not yours to take. For people who work Mon-Fri 9-5 this leaves little time for us to be able to enjoy south shore. This is incredibley sad, and another unfortunate example of access problems with the majority of little Compton’s coastline.

Please please don't lock up this beach! We have been going here for 20 years and it means the world to us! We have ALWAYS been respectful and never littered there! I am now partially disabled so to be able to just go park here and sit or find a way down to the water and get my feet wet remains one of my most pleasurable times! Please don't take this away?

I had a school board meeting I needed to attend.
South shore beach is imperative to the community to supply income to the town, businesses and community. The Commons, Wilburs and A-1 Pizza need this support of infrastructure. South Shore Beach Drives this economy. Please allow the state mandated access to South Shore Beach.

The beach should be open! It’s a big space where everyone is spread out and there is no point of having it closed during the week, if your going to have it open on the weekends!
