I'm from the class of '69l The professional teams like Cleveland Indians and Washington Redskins haven't changed their mascots, why should SSFHS after 50 some years.

Having an Indian represent the Warriors as a Mascot is not offensive, in fact it is the opposite. It should be looked at with great strength and pride and no way in a negative way. Many things are changing in life. This should not be one of them..

There is no offense in this . My grandfather was full blooded Native American . This is a way our families spirits are honored . It’s not being made fun of or belittled . Our fighting spirit is alive and celebrated in the little things like this .
