Absolutely. If we can't have a fact-based discussion on these types of laws, how are we supposed to expect to be able to do so in the future when the government has an ever-increasing monopoly of force?

I whole heartedly support such action and one would think that our government would be more concerned with allowing their own citizens to prevent irreparable hearing loss. It's almost almost as if they believe the movies and think that's suppressors will actually silence a firearm

Prohibiting safety equipment is completely absurd, this needs to change, there is no logical reason for it.

it is 2016 and on long guns it would just make them safer and longer !
main thing is hearing protection and noise pollution non shooters endure.

I believe that all Canadians, should have full access to any and all forms of PPE, used on range and during hunting. If this simple device means I can prevent any harm to myself and those around me, there shouldn't be any issue. The government doesn't prohibit me from using all means necessary to protect myself and others on construction sites with the proper PPE. There is no reason to prohibit sound moderators used to protect myself and those around me.

I support the use for saving hearing and reducing noise pollution. There are several countries more evolved than Canada that allow the use.

This makes so much sense, people get nervous when they hear a report from a firearm. It also reduces the hearing damage for shooters.
