I am def in one ear since birth. I wear hearing protection while hunting in dense bush or protect what hearing I have left. If a bear or any predator snuck up on me I wouldn't know it until it was gnawing on my skull. I am all for sound moderators.

It is time for Canada to join other modern countries like the UK and the USA, and allow the public as well as sport shooters hearing protection.

Save our ears, this outdated law breaks OH&S safety laws, and shows no change in crime in European or America where it's use is legal or mandatory.

Seems like suppressors would keep shooters from annoying their neighbors and other users of recreational land.

Lots of other countries have successfully allowed their citizens to use sound suppression with good results. Let's keep up in this day in age with proper use of safety equipment.

As well as reducing noise and recoil, making the shooting experience more pleasant for myself and friends,it would also really be doing the neighbours a favor,by reducing noise that would normally disturb them, their families,or their livestock or pets.
New Zealand actually REQUIRES firearms to be suppressed. It really is a good way to tame down the noise, protect people's hearing, and ensure that good neighbours remain good neighbours.

This is something that should have been openly discussed long ago. Sound moderators are the easiest thing that can be done to improve the overall safety of shooters. I show my support!

I for one feel worried that loud noise may stir an uproar in my rural area. It definatly effects people as surprisingly I've heard more gun shots after I starred shooting at home.
