Responsible gun owners should not be penialized for the acts of criminals. Our personal safety should matter for something

Sound Moderators would allow the shooting sport to be more enjoyable and be safer for our ears as a nation of sportsman.(Fisherman, Hunters and Outdoorsman)

There are several countries including the UK. which allow these devices for saving hearing loss and to reduce noise pollution. I already have hearing loss from years of shooting & hunting these tools would help reduce further loss to my hearing.
As a responsible gun owner who is allowed to own restricted firearms but can't own a simple safety device like a sound moderator / suppressor. Why? STUPID LAWS THAT WHY!

Look at the evidence of them being used for crimes in other countries such as New Zealand or Australia. Now look at the hearing loss associated with non suppressed rifles. Its a no brainer but unfortunately our government doesn't like using science and statistics to make laws.

Merci

I lived in New Zealand for 6+ years. Suppressed hunting rifles are available "off the shelf" there.

This is a "no-brainer". Make suppressors legal in Canada!

I agree that Sound moderators should be legalized as a health and safety device relating to reducing noise levels in rifles and pistols.

Here is an explanatory brochure of a system that works and that you would be good to study in order to do better than us and especially not worse than some of our neighbors

This would be beneficial for both firearms owners and those who don't own firearms. Plus the added hearing protection.
