It is sad that sound suppressors are prohibited instead of readily available. They are PPE designed to lower the audible decibels and help protect your hearing. Too much media and Hollywood inaccuracies have a lot of uneducated people believing that "silencers" are evil devices with no purpose other than to make a loud bang sound like a mouse fart.

I would most certainly used these devices at the range. After 38 years in aviation I'd be deaf if i hadn't used the best PPE available!!

Please decriminalize suppressors. It's. Health and safety item not evil. It's not like the movies. You say you wanna act under knowledge and sound data, well this item will save peoples hearing.

It is a safety feature. It attenuates sound. It does NOT silence a gunshot. Real life not movie-life.

Work safe BC takes a large interest in my hearing. Protecting it and monitoring it. I use hearing protection and take it seriously. Why not allow law abiding Canadians access to a protective device.
