Prohibiting safety equipment makes no sense whatsoever.

This would be a great thing when it comes to health and safety. We need to educate people that it is a common misconception that firearms will be made whisper quiet!!

Hunting and target shooting would be much more enjoyable for everyone if firearm noise suppression could be used. It would limit hearing loss of the shooter and make living close to a range much more bearable for home owners

This is a legitimate solution to cut down on noise complaints and will decrease the harm to my ears - making it a good solution to a health concern. Suppressors are not the hollywood tool of assassins. Other countries allow them in hunting.

Having my ears hurt while enjoying sport, even with ear protection, shouldn't be made worse by legislation limiting my ability to protect my hearing.

I want to voice my right to legalize sound moderate device to be able to acquire by every licensed gun owners. Which will reduce noise pollution and sounds affecting ears from a health and safety point.

We don't drive our cars without mufflers.........lets make suppressors legal. I think in today's world in Canada we can dispel the myths around suppressors, and allow responsible people to use them.

I run a shooting range (Alberni Fish and Game Club) and we've had noise complaints from neighbours. We're one bad city council away from being closed down due to noise. I wish people could use a "muffler" on their firearms, if they wished.

Silencers don't actually silence firearms. The fact that they're prohibited just shows our gun laws were made based on emotions instead of science or facts.
Absolutely ridiculous that these are prohibited.
