We are petitioning NYS DOT to install a sound barrier wall along the east side of Scott Drive . The wall is to run approximately 1/4 mile long. Please add your name to the petition
I am in favor of the wall being built. 110 has become increasingly busy since we moved into the neighborhood just 5 years ago. The noise radiates through the community especially during the holiday season with the increase in traffic and no tree foliage to help block the sound of the busy road.

Thank you for all your support. Our meeting with the NYS DOT took place on Wednesday , February 8th. We were able to discuss our concerns and the next steps to take to achieve safety and privacy to our development . Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci was present and he will be coordinating the next meeting between Rollingwoods, NYS DOT and the Town of Huntington. I will post the next date when it is available to me. Thank you again.

The neighborhoods in West Hills are family-friendly, and adjacent to West Hills State Park where wildlife is plentiful. However the location is also very near to busy roads. A barrier on the east side of Scott Drive would make such a difference in the peace of this community! Please help us keep our children and natural resources better separated from all the noise and traffic. Thank you!

The noise unfortunately can be heard a few blocks past. I also worry about my kids walking on Scott as there's little in the way of a barrier between a busy main street and Scott Drive.

I completely support the signing of this I live on Scott Dr backing 110 and the noise especially when we open our windows at night and hear White Castle orders and cars racing down 110 can lead to many sleepless nights.

Much needed for a less stressful quality of life for the residents of Scott Drive and all of Rollingwood...noise pollution is very real!

The sound barrier would be great for the safety of our neighborhood.
