Doesn't seem that long since we were fighting this the last time!

Please please don't take this away from us. How will our children learn to swim, affordably.

Our village has been taken over completely by Tourists !!! Highlife membership was the only perk to use the pool at McDonalds. Shame on them

This seems like a very backward step. Surely Macdonald hotels will lose out on a lot of funding from highlife highland as well as what locals spend in the cafes, soft play etc.

Shame on McDonald hotels. Happy to benefit from all that the local community offer their customers but no longer wishing to give back?

There aren't any comparable swimming pools in the area - Grantown is small, and only open to the public sometimes (it's shared with the High School). There isn't a council pool in Aviemore. Losing access to the Aviemore Macdonald would have a serious affect on locals, esp children learning to swim. My two oldest sons go to swim club there once a week and my youngest has basically learnt to swim there through my taking him often. It really would be disastrous to lose this pool.

How utterly ridiculous to loose the only pool in this area which comes under the Highlife Scheme.

Would be a real shame to lose this facility from the highlife scheme taking the access to swimming away from so many families

Vital services being lost again in the Strath, not acceptable!

Was this pool not agreed on the understanding that local people could use it. The charges are extortionate if you don’t have the highlife membership and now they don’t want highlife holders to use it. If you can’t access the pool it will seem pointless having the highlife membership.

No Highlife members to MacDonalds Aviemore = NO access to swimming for my 3 children unless I make an 80mile round trip to Inverness.

We use the pool at least once or twice a week! Without the Highlife card access we would not be able to afford to swim at your resort! Locals were promised the use at a fair reduced rate through the Highlife and this should be upheld.
