If wearing a mask and sitting 6 ft apart works everywhere else.... there is no reason that parents, relatives, and fellow fans should not be able to come to a big gym and cheer our athletes. Students are closer than this in their classrooms and are doing just fine!!

The current restrictions have brought my family to a place of not caring. At this point, we feel so defeated that we don’t care about anything anymore. Nothing to work for. Nothing to look forward to. That’s a dangerous place for emotional teenagers and parents who are struggling financially. Mental health is suffering. That has the potential to bring more tragedy than Covid, and it’s time to stop ignoring that conversation. And great grandma, who lives to watch her great grandchildren play. How arrogant of the government to assume what’s best for her and make her choices for her. She’s older than you, lived through the depression and WWII and she deserves more respect. She’s not a feeble old person. She’s a big girl who can make her own decisions. If it’s worth it to her to take her own chances and go to a game, that’s her god given American right. Her husband wore the uniform. Lawmakers should be absolutely ashamed to treat her this way! Shame on any government who doesn’t believe it’s good citizens are capable of deciding for themselves. Do not treat us like stupid little children. American Government works for the people. They do not rule the people. Stop the over reach!

I fully agree, stop taking our rights away as American citizens. We know the risks and if we are willing to go out in public, with or without a mask, should not be determined by the government. Why is the Number of people allowed in a gymnasium, so much smaller than the people allowed in Walmart, Costco, or target?

I agree!! The inconsistencies in the decisions being made right now are completely undermining the citizen's confidence that anyone in government has our best interests in mind. There is a way to allow parents to go watch their kids. It's pretty simple really. Mask and social distance.... it's what's been preached to us for damn near a year now!

It is time that we take care of ourselves. The sickness is not going away. Most people have or are a systematic so let these kids have a “Normal” year. It is going to be something else next year.
