Athletic and extracurricular events should be treated as essential activities for our students safety, mental health, and well being with reasonable plans in place, just as school has been exempted from Stage 2 limitations. Nothing magical happens at 4:30 p.m. when the freshman girls basketball game starts after the students have been together all day long...let the cheerleaders cheer, let the student sections wear masks, let parents spread out in our huge gyms and wear masks. We need to be there for each other more than ever and we need reassured that we have a Governor who will show leadership and STAY THE COURSE in protecting our constitutional rights and promoting principles of liberty and individual responsibility. Let's trust our school administrators, parents, and communities at large to follow capacity guidelines and plans already approved by our health districts of 20% and let's eliminate the red tape of getting individual plans approved for every district in the state. We can do this! Governor Little, there is a positive way forward.

Totally agree. Schools are out in such a hard position because of the governments decisions. No money is being taken at our home games and we are spread out with bleachers not even being used. How can you put a number out there like 10 for a gym that you can safely social distance?

Our athletic Director had a very reasonable plan before we moved back to stage 2. Please reconsider. Our gyms have a huge capacity where social distancing can easily be maintained.

Agree 100%. Breaking down the family unit to the core is not the right of our governor.
Amen!
