I think it's wrong to judge a girl or send her home for what she's wearing. It's not damaging anyone so I don't understand why teachers get mad over something so stupid.

SERIOUSLY. Like when I say " oh sorry my shoulders are soooo distracting" a teacher is always like well that's not the reason for the dress code. THEN CAN SOMEONE SPECIFY PLEASE?

The dress code is absolutely rediculous. This is just teaching guys that girls are basically sexual objects that can be thrown around and girls to make sure that they aren't perceived in the wrong way. Why should we worry about what we wear. It's not like the real world is any different. Like really. What's next, hands? Ankles? Omg necks? Really. They are basically shaming us for the way out bodies are and it's teaching girls wrong. It is absolutely preposterous that what we choose to wear is said as "distracting". Everything we wear could be distracting whether it's a neon shirt or a super designed shirt. It's only distracting if you make it that way. It's only sexually distracting if you look at it that way. Yes school, I'm sorry that we, females, have shoulders and I'm sorry that we can't cover it up but deal with it. This is just annoying. I hope we get more signatures because this needs to stop.

okay i understand the whole "needs more to even be considered" but look how many signatures this has gotten even without EVERYTHING else that needs to be changed.

YES!!! How is it our fault if what we wear is "distracting"? They shouldn't be looking in the first place! Also, if I go to the office to say that someone is a distraction to me, they won't kick them out of school so why should we not be able to wear what we want?
