My elderly parents live in the Soo and I like knowing there will be a quick and immediate response from the FD if they ever need it. Making these cuts puts my family in danger!

We need to keep our firefighters and let them continue to do the work they were trained to do.I commend you for your dedication to our city

I am certainly not prepared for yet another hike in house insurance. We need our fire fighters, NO CUTS.

This is so wrong, they cannot make any cuts to our fire department if anything we do need more staff!

Incredible lack of insight and leadership. You can tell he was never an Incident Commander at so much as a garbage bin fire.

What is wrong with the people running this city?? What's next... a reduction in law enforcement ? How about reducing the number of management positions and really save money.

The closing of a fire station will cause problems with the amount of accidents and fires (arson) more people will end up dying or seriously injured waiting for an out of the way hall respond to the call.

It is not worth the risk and a false economy to try to save a few dollars in taxes but wind up paying more for insurance.

We need top notch trained fire fighters, who are physchaily able to do the job. We don't always need tehse professional, but when we do they are erady 24/7/365...I think council should look at reducing the top officialls before cutting an ettientail service

cutting back the number of our firefighters as well as the safety of this community is not acceptable! The chief needs to find other ways to cut spending without jeopardizing lives and jobs!
