After losing their homes, victims of the fire should not also lose their beloved pets.

Fire survivors shouldn’t be forced to give up their family members (yes, animals are family members). Haven’t these people lost enough? Haven’t these animals lost enough?

We lost our home in the fire and the only things we saved were our fur babies we have 3 a lot of places said no to us for one reason or another about the dogs we accept one or two or not a husky or wanted to charge us like 3 times the deposit or just flat out said no we have already involuntarily lost everything I couldn’t take away my kids loving pets also thankfully at the last minute someone was kind enough to take a chance on us! Good luck we fire survivors have already lost so much

It is wrong to potentially sentence animals to death when there are other measures to protect one's property such as extra deposits and pet insurance.

Santa Rosa fire victims should be allowed to keep their pets! It is great therapy to allow these pets owners to have their pets back in their homes.

Well needed, pets are family. Leave them with family. They are not an option.

Stop increasing the trauma for people who have suffered enough. Time to rebuild with heart, not punitive measures.

Please stop the euthanasia of innocent animals merely because they are being surrendered due to housing problems

It’s crucial that humans are allowed to stay with their packets for ethical and emotional reasons. Please help those who have already gone through trauma by losing their homes find solace with their pets.

A person who has lost their home to the fires shouldn't have to give up their pets as well just to have a roof over their heads. How would you feel if someone said you had to give up a member of your family just yo have a roof over your head?
