I work at a shelter and this is so needed. It is heartbreaking to see families who have lost everything, have to give up their pet due to lack of pet-friendly housing. It can be kindly and humanely handled, and in this county with our amazing community, we should be able to give the fire victims at least that.

We need to put in place rational, humane and temporary ordinance variances in order to overcome this tragedy we have faced.

We need to help the animals, as we put them is a situation where they cannot help themselves. Anything to save their lives, this is a sane idea that will help.

Pets are family, stop barring animals from rentals, they are someone's only hope at times, they are comfort.
