I think this is the right thing to do and in line with other school districts. I’m not sure Taylor can do it without state guidance, but I hope it is something he can advocate for.

I’m a graduating senior and I need to graduate!!! This would be the one thing that messes me up. An unplanned closure due to a pandemic causing me to fail school because I couldn’t understand online class work after 12 years of already struggling with school. I’m not willing to NOT GRADUATE

the way that the district and some teachers have been handling this had been embarrassing. We need a pass/fail system for the rest of this time

I honestly think we should pass because the corona situation is overwhelming and none of us were ready for all of this. The online classes were last minute.

The Fashion Institute of Technology, where I’m a Dean, just today implemented a Pass Fail grading format for the Spring semester. Students, parents, and teachers are under incredible stress due to the new learning format as well as the spread of COVID-19. MMS can reduce the anxiety for everyone by instituting a Pass Fail grading system.
