No to Three Weekly Bin Collections in Somerset - Somerset County Council reconsider the plans before they start in Autumn 2017

Absolute disgraceful. Is the council tax going down to reflect this? I doubt it very much! Absolutely crazy, especially when we are lucky to have a larger bin due to circumstances, how the hell is anybody with a smaller 'regular ' bin supposed to cope? ?????

Bad enough every 2 weeks when you have a family!

Our bin is full in just over week leaving it 3 weeks is just ridiculous

Reduced bin collections obviously will mean reduced council tax right ???? Yeah right !!!!!

This is disgusting and will cause rats, as people fly tip, in the South east they are emptied every week let alone fortnightly, now you want 3weeks your having a laugh.

You have to be joking, we struggle now and I recycle to the max.. Would need two bins if this is the case

What's next to be chopped, This council needs outing and these local elections are the way to do it.

No no no!! Will increase fly tipping and hygiene problems rotting stinking rubbish. Struggle with 2 week collections and I don't have children at home anymore. Recycle as much as possible

Until they allow more to be recycled it will not work.

Three weeks is too long to leave rubbish collection. I appreciate that there are plans to increase recycling but until these are established and households adapt then landfill collections every two weeks is essential.

Please reconsider

I currently have 2 bins and am lucky if I dnt have a spare bag to be collected on top my bins I have a 5 year old autistic child still in nappy plus a toddler in nappys I would not cope with 3 weekly collections my bins already stink in the warmer weather

Dreadful idea! We recycle as much as we can already and our bin if full by bin day! If they go to 3 weeks it will be over flowing! Need to make more things recyclable like egg containers mushroom pots washing tablet containers which take up a lot of room in the general waste... we also have a baby so have nappies to dispose of!!

If tou do go ahead with this we all need bigger or extra wheelie bins

This can't be acceptable rubbish being left full for 3 weeks....and this is being suggested when council taxes have risen!!!

Bins should be emptied weekly

I know, let's have no services at all for what we pay in council tax. I don't even live in Somerset, but I see it as important to sign this because if it happens there it will happen here in Northamptonshire next.
