No to Three Weekly Bin Collections in Somerset - Somerset County Council reconsider the plans before they start in Autumn 2017

No to three weeks collection.

No way every 3weeks

Fake saving. Will cost far more to collect potential fly tipping. Very few families will be able to stretch to three weekly collections despite how much they recycle. Unworkable and could lead to a pest infestation due to bin bags being stored outside of bins.

I have a family and we would not cope

Rediculous and going to encourage vermin and fly tipping!

Young family 3 adults it's bad enough every 2 weeks

3 weeks worth of cat litter, dogs waste and commode waste. Lovely!!

What about the rats and birds spreading disease as the tops will not close for many. I currently recycle all that is collected.

I have two recycling bins at the moment and every week they are overflowing. I live in a small terraced cottage and where there was once flowers there is now "rubbish"if this goes ahead the problem will only get worse.

Bad idea. My bin already overflows getting them empty every other week.

I recycle as much as possible, but I think 3 weekly collection is not good.

You want to know why fly tipping is on the increase, yet its got worse since you stopped weekly collections , so when its three lots of people will be FORCED to FLYTIP.

Ridiculous. And to think it was always weekly collections. Fortnightly is a struggle even with the amount of recycling which could do with much bigger bins!

livig in a house hold wit 2 children isnt possible we find it hard enough with the bins going every 2 if u make it 3 weeks then u will be increasing the rat problems u can do this u will be asking for trouble

Please rethink this idea. We,the residents of Somerset, are finding collection every two weeks a problem. Has anyone asked us?

Two weekly already more than fills our bin.
