No to Three Weekly Bin Collections in Somerset - Somerset County Council reconsider the plans before they start in Autumn 2017

whilst most households could possibly cope there are many houses of multiple occupation and also divided into flats that will definitely become a problem and health hazard

If you're not willing to reconsider you should provide two black wheelie bins per household to ensure the rubbish is stored safely.

This is ridiculous! I live on my own with my daughter and almost fill a wheelie bin a fortnight. I'm a strict recycler too! Larger families already struggle to not overflow. Would there be a reduction in council tax if it goes ahead!?!

Not good for large families, those who need to dispose of nappies or something similar. We pay enough in council tax please keep the 2 weekly bin collection.

As consumers we don't ask for all the extra packaging but we have to deal with the extra rubbish! Two weeks is long enough.

We only just mange with 2 week collections , 3 is far too long

It was weekly when I was a child 75 years ago. Public health and safety will be compromised.

Three weekly rubbish collections will not be feasible. It will likely result in fly tipping and issues with pest control.

Keep black bin collections to 2 weekly for many reasons including soiled nappies and the like, difficulty for medium/large families coping. We already see straining bins on the streets with 2 weekly collections

Companies should be targeted to use less packaging ! We recycle as much as possible but 3 weeks is too long. It's going to cause a lot of problems

We pay high council taxes so SCC do your job properly and collect the dustbins on a regular basis. Three week collections are not hygenic.

as well as being bad for the people of somerset , alot of hardworking binmen will lose their jobs too :(

We need to keep to fortnightly collections we will end up with stinking overflowing bins

I would run the risk of vermin infestations due to lack of storage for waste for 3 weeks

Disgusting, don't collect the recycling where there supposed to.! The excuse is, if we stop in the town we're holding up the traffic.!! A
