No to Three Weekly Bin Collections in Somerset - Somerset County Council reconsider the plans before they start in Autumn 2017

Already have badgers trying to get in my bins so don't want rats as feel three weeks could bring plenty of them with rubbish hanging around.

Waiting 3 weeks for our bins to be changed. Wow!! I think it should be once a week they get changed not every other week as it is...

I think it's daft to do this three weekly. I recycle everything and the black bin is still full in two weeks! Not only what think of the stink in the summer!

No to 3 week collections.

I have a family of 5 with one bin two children are in nappies my bin is full every 2 weeks leaving nappies in another bag will result in foxes and cats pulling them apart which is extremely unhygienic this isn't the Tudor era find the funding elsewhere we pay enough for the service through our council tax which is set to increase

No to three weekly bin collection it is bad enough having it two weekly the steeets bins are over spilling as it is!'

Three weeks between collections is a step backwards in our environmental health standards. Just walking around Yeovil you can see bins overflowing in many streets.

3 weeks worth of rotting dog poo in the summer. No thank you!

I recycle everything I can but still the wheelie bin is full up after 2 weeks. It doesnt make any sense to introduce a 3 weekly collection BEFORE being able to recycle more waste such as plastic. Please don't go ahead with this plan.

No to Three weeks waste collection

I noticed yesterday how many bins were overflowing and people had black bags piled on top of them as well, not a good or sensible idea

It's ridiculous sometimes we struggle to last 2 weeks let alone 3!!! The fly tipping and trips to the recycling centre will increase

...and still our elected councillors will ignore this petition.

I don't know about anyone else but as it stand three weekly collections would be hard to cope with unless more recycling bins we supplied or bigger wheelie bins are supplied as well as wheelie bins for recycling just like Dorset have done

We cannot have 3 weekly collections without more black and brown food bins. In the warm / hot weather the bins will start to smell, and there will be more rubbish everywhere too.
