No to Three Weekly Bin Collections in Somerset

I have 3 young children my one bin is filled in 2 weeks with just one. I have 2 bags putility out next to black bin.. so unless u give me an extra bin

My bin is full every fortnight so no to 3 weeks.

As a family of 5 with a child in nappies, our bin is already full (sometimes overflowing) after 2 weeks. The thought of soiled nappies (and sanitary products) hanging around for 3 weeks is revolting and unsanitary.

if your going to save money then we're not going to pay as much council tax that we technically speaking don't have to pay if you know what to say in court

A three week collection will result in an excess of rubbish. However much recycling we do, we cannot store souch refuse in one wheelie bin. There will be more rats, more animal attacks on the bins and more fly tipping, as less responsible residents, attempt to get rid of rubbish.

2 weeks is long enough , yes we should use our recycling bins more efficiently but maybe there needs to be sufficient collections

Bins smell enough after 2 weeks in the summer. Fly tipping is on the increase already due to restrictions at tips.

Householders pay for this service in their council tax, if there is a reduction in the service will this be reflected in our tax? Unlikely. What alternative means of disposing of rotting waste is there, in particular for people who have no vehicle. Regardless of this the hygiene issues are insurmountable and cannot be argued. The health risks this presents are not acceptable.

Absolute disgrace i fill up 3 recycle bins every week and still have to put seperate bags next to my bins and being there is cats around our street it gets everywhere and that includes nappies as we have a 2 year old in them still nice sight to see outside your homes.....not

My baby is due in four weeks , it's a nightmare now with three children, we recycle but bins are always full, so it will be hell if go to three weely collection, with the nappies and baby milk cartons etc ,

This will just lead to more illegal fly-tipping. The Council is also making it more difficult to take waste to the recycling centre by reducing opening hours and placing restrictions on taking trailers. When are they going to face up to their responsibilities?

Surely finding better solutions to recycling should be of more interest than forcing us to find other means to dispose of our rubbish. I have a household of 6. We recycle and have 2 bins, Even though we recycle, my bins get full after the 2 weeks. Every thing we use is wrapped in plastic! This isn't just a county issue, more needs to be done to reduce the amount of waste we have, then in the future moving to a 3 week schedule wouldn't be so difficult.

Why should we have to have this forced on us, when council tax keeps rising every year and there seem to be cut backs to our services? Lack of police, lack of police stations! , councillors who don't help the public when in need , and now this facing us......again. No, I do NOT want my waste collected less frequently, that was not mentioned on the increase this year! ...... I if you want my tax, collect my bins! I have a stoma, and have to change the bag every few days, I DO NOT WANT THAT HANGING AROUND FOR 3 WEEKS? OR MORE IF IT IS BANK HOLIDAY. (they don't flush or recycle ..... but they do smell, a lot! ) would you want that in your bin for more than 3 weeks???? Get the act together and leave the already annoying 2 weekly bin collections alone!

that to me is ridiculous - frequent refuse collection a big reason i pay council tax

This will encourage more fly tipping . More vermin we must not let this happen

Please maintain the current service.
