Absolutely bloody ludicrous . we struggle with two weeks . I presume we'll all get a rebate on the council tax we pay as well for our refuse collection then

I believe this will result in far more fly tipping as people won't cope with one bin every 3 weeks. My son had a family of 4 with 2 babies in nappies and 3 week old nappies smell very bad, not to mention the quantity in 3 weeks!! They struggled with fortnightly collections, so 3 weekly is just not feasible for them.
Do we get a council tax reduction for reduced provision in public services? I'm guessing not. I can see this leading to complete withdrawal of rubbish collection eventually! Why not adopt the continental approach with a large bin at the end of the street and collect those every night?

As a mother to twins I personally think that three weeks for the bin collection is ridiculous. I always have a black bin bag that won't fit in my bin after two weeks.

I have 2 disabled children and struggle now with fortnightly collections, whose going too foot the bill when theres maggotts crawling everywhere

We do need to address the problem of waste, but this is not a helpful way to do it.

Promote better initiatives to shrink the amount of waste we produce BEFORE reducing the frequency of collections.

My neighbours have 3 bins and a trailer full of rubbish every 2 weeks, this will not work

I don't have a problem with more recycling but a family with a child in nappies cannot have 3 week old nappies hanging about in bins. It's disgusting and unhygienic. Please reconsider

Rubbish is just going to build up. Unless they give us bigger bins, and i cant see that happening. They moan about people fly tipping now, well thats what people will do, no-one want stinking rubbish nr their house, especially in summer. We pay rates to have the rubbish emptied, if they insist on doing 3 weeks, then they should give us a discount, because they are not fulfilling their obligations.

We are a family of 7, we struggle with the 2 week collection as it is! I think the only way it would work is if we were able to recycle all plastic tubs, bags, wrapping etc and tetra pack!
