It's bad enough that it's 2 weekly plus have to sort into different boxes for recycling. When I was younger we had no recycling it all went into one bin and they sorted it plus they actually collected your bins from the garden and put them back, now they are just thrown on the street and stay where they land until we collect them it's ridiculous

For this to happen there is supposed to be more recycling, but there is actually less. I'm finding more and more bits being left in my bins that were taken the week before, and Saltlands is recycling less as well. Disgusting!

Yes, cuts must be made but not this way. It would be unhealthy and lead to fly tipping on a large scale.

Disgusting that this should even be contemplated. Bins are on the limit already. Will they reduced our charges by 50%? I doubt it

As a family of 5 our bin is full with a 2 week collection and querying this with the council, they informed me I could have another bin. I don't what another bin, I don't what my garden full with wheelie bins, 1 is enough. I also don't have rear access to the house so have to wheel the bin through the house. I really don't what to be carting through bin after bin of rubbish. Finally, how would you keep track of a 3 weekly collection?? Some households can't work a 2 week rota and they leave their rubbish out for a week until collection, what a state the streets will be in if it's left there for 2 weeks stinking and rotting away. Just stick with 2 week collection and stop thinking 3 week collections is the answer because it's not.

Where do I keep three weeks worth of waste? I pay over a hundred pounds a month council tax and get nothing for it, I live in a rural area so no Street lights, no children so don't use schools, libraries, children's services, and now you want to reduce my refuse collection?

Bins full before two weeks and I do recycle as well as I can. Three weeks and I will not be able to close the lid properly.

This is a ridiculous move, when you have meat packaging that is uncontrolable by us, that stinks after 2 weeks! Also this will result in less hours for the bin men employment is hard enough to find as it is don't contribute to it. Keep their jobs going!!

Rediculous. As a family of 4 we struggle not to fill the bin in 2 weeks and not have a bag extra. We won't manage with 3 weeks.
