Doctor Hardy has made an invaluable impact on the district and the students. She is always so kind and helpful and the school would be at a severe loss without her.

Without Dr. Hardy, things would not get done in the guidance department. She has provided me and countless other students with emotional and academic support that no one else in our school(s) is capable of. Dr. Hardy has the knowledge, experience, relationships and PASSION that someone needs to have in order to fill such an important role. She has guided myself, my sister and my parents through the college and even high school process. If our school board cares so deeply about the students of the Somers Central School District, then they should TALK TO US! Listen to our pleas to keep Dr. Hardy who is such an important part of the Somers community and ask us what our suggestions are regarding where and how they can cut their money more wisely (like the tablets, tvs, spinning chairs and other such useless things that, unlike Dr. Hardy, will NOT help us prepare for the real world!).

Without Dr. Hardy, I would not have had the knowledge or the guidance to get through the college process. Not, would I have had someone I could trust and come to when I needed advise and help with family, life, and school.

My sister is in her first year of college with lots of help from Dr. Hardy, I hopeful to have her here to help me when I'm ready to go to college
