Professor Mayo is a mentor, leader and critical eductor. My paper was accepted for a conference on dialogue and we traveled to Malta for the first time. Please support Professor Mayo in all his activities.

I stand in solidarity with Peter Mayo and others who have done so much excellent work with UNESCO, among others, to bring adult learning to all peoples with interest in lifelong learning.

Professor Mayo is an extraordinary academic and deserves to be better acknowledged by his workplace at the University of Malta

Peter Mayo's academic achievements deservedly entitle him to much better treatment, recognition and tenure and this is why I have no hesitation in extending my full support for this petition.

I don’t understand why the President of the University of Malta doesn’t intervene in this awkward case of an internationally reknowned scholar and colleague from his own university. Dragging on this “Causa Mayo” will not further the prestige of the university he oversees, nor the image of this important island, this important bridge between the Arab World, Africa and Europe. Peter is in the best sense of the word a bridgebuilder at his place, the University of Malta!

Prof Mayo was one of the lecturers in the faculty of education who has had the biggest impact on me as a student then and throughout my working life.

Peter Mayo is like a treasure, a heritage that we should cultivate with the utmost care, and not refuse to continue his activity at the university.

Peter Mayo is an amazing critical scholar whose services are indispensible for the critical education community!

Professor Mayo is a world renowned scholar whose contributions to the field of education are exceptional. I urge the University of Malta to extend his service.

Profs Mayo has been my lecturer, my mentor and my tutor. He has taught me so much and I always admired his profeessionalism, his humanity and his knowledge during lectures and placements.

Peter Mayo's work is even more relevant today given the crisis in education at all levels. It would be criminal to deny this scholar of international repute an institutional context to further his research.
