SODASTREAM UK... WE WANT OUR MACHINES!!!

I ordered just the plain product on their website, no code, just the discount they were given. The cash has been taken...no email other than a confirmation...and no machine. DISGRACEFUL

I, like many people purchased a Sodastream Machine from Sodastream UK. They took my money from my credit card and changed the status of my order online from "new order" to "approved". These orders were made between Sunday 8th and Monday 9th Dec 2013, some with a voucher code, some without. Up until Thursday 12 Dec, they were still taking money from people's credit cards. Some people received their orders, some got a cancellation email... most of us got neither. On Friday 13th Dec, Soda Stream UK Wrote a status on their Facebook page cancelling all orders. They did not cancel orders by email, just on Facebook. They kept asking people to email them for further information... knowing they were still in working hours, but had put their email service to "out of office" so we all got an automated reply. We as a group paid for a machine, you approved our order and took our money, this is a contract. Now, we would like our machines please. I do not want a refund.. i want what i paid for. I refuse to be ignored like you are currently doing, this will not go away and neither will we. We the undersigned are your customers waiting for our machines and other like minded people who believe what you are doing is wrong.

Just to let you know that I only found out about this whole debacle because I was looking to buy a Sodastream, and Googled the product. I have to say that I am disgusted at the shoddy way your customers have been treated. I daresay other potential customers feel the same. I, for one, will not be purchasing your product. For the record, you could not have picked a worse time of year to upset your customers... but, to be frank, there is no good time in these days of social media grievances are soon aired and disseminated; and once the damage is done, it is done.

Very inconsistant information

Well done guys. It would appear our orders are being honoured. :)

I hear (via hotukdeals and facebook) that my order has been cancelled. I ordered on Monday, they took my money on Wednesday after sending out cancellation emails to other people. The order status on my account says 'approved'. I've been waiting patiently and havent heard from sodastream at all.

Orders reinstated, good news all round! Well done people

Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers

The worst online system and 'customer service' I've ever experienced.

The worst customer service ever- money has been taken from my account and no cancellation email received. Even if was a genuine mistake, it could have been turned to your advantage by honouring the many sales and happy customers continuing to buy your gas/syrups etc. Should have been everyone or no one that got their order. Atrocious behaviour, especially from such a big company.
