I do not want the rural county to be turned into a city. High-density housing does not belong here. The infrastructure is struggling now; what will happen with a large increase of homes?

Way to much congestion along CR 166 ( Singing Hill) of automobile traffic is currently a problem and this development will certainly make this an unbearable situation to those of us living within the neighborhood.

Realizing nothing can stay the same, however, with this development way too many cars coming out at one exit and no additional road improvement minus a turning lane. Let alone the adjacency law coming into play after the 1st 320 (640 cars - 1280 trips daily!) homes are built.

I don't know how thoughtful it was of Elbert County officials to completely ignore all of the EC zoning regulations and State zoning statutes just to push this clustered mess of rooftops through as quickly as possible so that Douglas County could economically prosper from all the business that will be directed out to Parker beyond. And let's not forget the thoughtful infrastructure that must take everyone out that way to the economic growth in Douglas County. This comment was obviously made by someone who is very worried that the citizens of this county have merit to stop this development. 200 homes on 10 acre lots is more of the kind of thoughtful development that will promote growth and better our community. But only if you follow the law and master plan please!

Our community can't support something like this! There isn't enough water and our subdivisions that are already here aren't taken care of properly. My family moved out here to get away from the big city life so that we could feel safe. Don't bring the city to the country.

No! This is a development that should not even be considered. We already have water issues which would be highly impacted by this development. Not only that, our entire lifestyle would be impacted. Residents moved to Elbert County to enjoy a rural life. We do not have the infrastructure to even consider this plan.....schools, law enforcement, roads, traffic, crime, fire, and other environmental impacts.....NO, NO, NO!

Elbert County cannot take care of the roads in the current subdivisions. Suggest the county come up with a plan to service current subdivisions before approving any new ones.

I moved out here to get away from this type of housing. For my kids to feel safe and secure. So I don't have to worry about them when they walk home. I love some and personal neighborhoods. Keep it this way.
