soca and calypso are one the must listen music in the world. I am from panama ,our generation in the pass when the canal of panama was made,were Caribbean and we are descendants of those families so we listened to calypso way way back ,I grew up listened to calypso since my childhood. This how we identify with my Caribbean roots, with soca and calypso.SOCA AND CALYPSO LIVE!!!!

Soca also known as (soul calypso),has been beating on the doors for international recognition for many years.Many new types of music ie,"Regaton",has borrowed and continue to borrow from Soca Music. It is time that SOCA MUSIC gets the international recognition it so rightfully deserves.
