Dear Mr Cameron Thank you in anticipation for taking the time to read this letter and attached petition. We, the people of the United Kingdom, feel that analogue television should NOT be switched off. If you are unable to afford a digital box, or you have an old analogue TV lying around, it would be beneficial to have a few analogue channels running. Also, for people with Sky and Virgin cable, in the event of a box developing a fault, you now have no television until an engineer is sent out to repair it. What if a lonely elderly person has to sit all weekend without television? At least with analogue they could still watch BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV and Channel 4 until the box got repaired. Please, please Mr Cameron, save our analogue televisions and switch analogue back on. Its a big part of our heritage and history. Many thanks We, the people of your United Kingdom.
