Why plan on spending money to replace a bridge on Newtown road that does not create a problem when Snows Road has some very dangerous curves that need guard rails
Repairing Snows Road would be a much better use of funds..

I can't drive the road anymore because it scares me. That was how I got to my vets at Camino Animal Hospital.

The principal purpose of local government is to provide the safety of all residents. Improvements to Snows Road is an urgent matter to prevent death and serious injury to the large population that depends on this road for all commerce and personal transportation. It is the principal responsibility of the County of El Dorado and the County Department of Transportation to improve Snows Road as described in this petition.

Railing is my hot issue; at the spot where the spring water leaks through the pavement. Oh and that is another big issue in the winter!

An analysis of vehicle speed leading up to and away from the school needs to be conducted on either side of the road. There may be a need to install speed control surfaces in order to slow traffic down for the safety of the school attendees and residents in this area.

I would like to see a vehicle weight restriction for Snow's Road. In the past I have seen moving vans unable to make the hairpin turn and had to be rescued while traffic was backed up and held for quite some time. Too much weight also has broken down the asphalt causing undermining of the road surface. Also, bicyclists should be banded because of the safety issues.

I do not agree that trees need to be removed if they are living, only dead trees along the road should be removed. I do feel that guard rails should be added.

We use the road several time daily. It is quite dangerous and need to be maintained properly. The largest concern is the lack of guard rails on the top section and the condition of the asphault.

Snows Road is a well traveled and dangerous route. It is a significant route to the Pleasant Valley area from Hwy 50. With hundreds of people traveling it each day, safety and repairs should be a priority.

I am a 68 1/2 year old widow. I depend on that road to see my family in Camino. Please repair it and make it safer for me. I've been a resident of Pollock Pines since 1976. This is the 2nd house I have owned. I have paid all my taxes. Thank you.
