very bad idea indeed. There has to be a balance between homes and community services and this appears to be a case of short term greed dominating good sense.

I agree that it is vital for community based assets, like Snowdown Close Community Centre, remain open and available for community use

This building has so much potential to offer the local community, to sell off for housing is a travesty which cannot be allowed.

Open it as a youth centre in Khadar's memory! Somewhere for other young people to go to keep off the streets so no other family have to go through what Khadar's did. RIP XXX

this is an amazing place for children to go to when they are bored otherwise they are more likely to get into trouble with the police which is not going to help the youth of Penge!

Young people need somewhere of their own to go. Bring back youth clubs.

This building should be kept by the community for community use. There is great need in the area for services for the public

My Kids love coming to Street Dance and Football on Saturdays - it would be such a shame to lose these opportunities.

I believe that Penge is an area with great social need, with a population made up of many different cultures, ages and people groups. At this time we feel that it's vital for community based assets, like this one, to remain open and available for community use.
