It's ridiculous that they expect us to work non stop every day, and remote learning is increadably ineffective, so it's just a waste of time for teachers and students.

I’m glad someone is acting on this because I was auestioning why would we now have to go remote learning on a snow day. Hope this goes through and our kids won’t have to do it.Thank you

This year has been difficult enough for our children! They’ve already had so much taken away. Let’s not add the fun of snow days to the list.

100% on board. The Bangor district has not considered the effects on morale, or what power outages will do to remote learning.

Bring back snow days! This is not only ridiculous but hard on everyone including your employees!

Who takes away snow days in a time of general public malaise? Honestly...

Snow days are the traditional day off from school. Any kid who truly enjoyed a break from academics and chores were the ones bundled up defending their forts, making snowmen, and sledding. It's also great for parents to have snow days with their kids. Parents have a mental break and enjoy being a kid again. Staying home and drinking hot chocolate with their kids.

As a parent, snow days are more than just a day off from school. It’s a chance for family time. Playing in the snow. A chance to be a kid! I have a hard time believing that teachers, especially those with children of their own, are in favor of not having snow days anymore. Teachers work so hard. It’s a day for them too.

The only harm would be stripping the children from an unexpected day off- it would be beneficial for students and teachers alike to have a recharge day!
