The City Council and City Staff, unlike other cities (e.g. Plano), have always been champions to support and protect the residents. I'm certain they will again rise to the challenge and reject any project that is too big for this wonderful neighborhood.

Agree wholeheartedly with all the comments given. I am not against appropriate development but in the proper scale to what is already there with MUCH emphasis placed on traffic and pedestrian safety. Just look at the difference between Preston Center Plaza and the successful collaborative efforts there versus the mess of Preston Center, west of Preston.

I write today to support the parents who hopefully will NOT lose children due to the increased traffic over the next 40 years caused by this project. In HP... "it in not what you drive, it is what your children drive!" is a joke often told by those living outside the community. Sad, but often true, evidenced by jacked up & dangerous trucks driven by our teenage sons, and cars driven by many of us, "texting, me first, drivers". My succinct Points Are: 1) The various committees representing the community are supposed to represent the community FIRST, not the Developers! When Strode and partners purchased the property from Huddleston they took on a TIME risk and a zoning risk. Yes P&Zoning committee, the developers may lose money, and if they do, that is OK, its called "business risk". 2) 128,000 square feet and all the associated parking is too much for that tiny piece of land! 3) There is NO WAY a height higher than the Morgan Stanley Bldg in Preston Center should even be considered! 4) The current "architecture" / "style" does not fit in with the community. 5) I am happy to look at the old Chase building for another generation in order to protect the kids and their parents from an overly dense and unnecessary project. UP Representatives, please represent the residential character of our town. Kids & Parents should be walking and riding bikes without constantly dodging cars and leaf blowers! Finally, does UP/HP & Dallas really need another 128,000 square feet of office and retail space? Of course, the answer is NO! On behalf of children at risk Scott E Douglass 3104 Bryn Mawr Drive 214-750-8688 PS I can't be there on the 16th, but if anyone with similar feelings would like to read read this to the committee on my behalf, I would appreciate that!

The design needs to flow with the rest of the businesses around the area. We have many children that walks to the middle school so we don't need more busy traffic in that intersection. There has been too many close call accidents in that area!

I normally do NOT oppose development. However, UP/HP is already literally surrounded by large buildings and development (Preston Center/NorthPark/Mockingbird & 75/Oak Lawn). We don't have to travel too far to experience high rises and dense development. For that reason, we should strive to keep the small community feel we have right now. Ultimately, that is why I OPPOSE large development at Snider Plaza. Thanks.

I am against such a large development. It took a year to reduce the traffic on the 2700 to 2900 blocks of University Blvd. This is a residential area with residential streets. Both Mockingbird and Lovers Lane will need to be significantly enlarged, which is not in the residents best interest. 2912 University Blvd University Park, Tx.

We don't need more traffic at that corner.Let's keep the park cities a place that is special for all.

This looks like a great Eminent Domain location for a new UP indoor pool and rec center.

3205 Milton Ave. The development is far too big and not appropriately sized. Traffic will build up more than existing roads will handle, and the parking situation will become worse.
