3429 Haynie- highly against the 3 story above ground parking garage that extends into residence, glass of the bldg, and increase in traffic on residential streets.

3500 block Haynie. Building too tall for our neighborhood and way out of scale for the rest of the city. Also worry about increased traffic and risk to pedestrians and bikers.

The last thing this town needs is one more glass building. First & foremost, the community needs proper parking. The best part of Snider Plaza is the quaint, mom & pop feel that is quickly becoming a thing of the past that we all long for. Please keep Snider Plaza lovely & quaint and at the same time address the parking issue.

I am an SMU alumni, as well as a parent to a child who attends HPISD schools. I can't fathom putting in a building this big, without realizing the ramifications it would cause the neighborhood. We already have road congestion on Hillcrest, as well as pedestrians and students who walk to SMU. I believe if re-zoning is going to be approved for a building 120' high, a lot of problems will arise. Please do NOT approve this request, because it will only cause major traffic backup, wreak havoc on our current environment due to the mirrored glass that will be used for the building, as well as create major safety issues for families. Our family walks the neighborhood a lot. My son also has autism. He doesn't understand why we have to obey red lights and is very impatient when it comes to traffic, so I always hold his hand when we are walking. Traffic is one of the most important issues I have always had to face as a mom, because my son is a runner (he runs out in front of traffic if something goes off in his brain). PLEASE do NOT APPROVE this enormous building structure. You may never realize how important it is to keep University Park and Snider Plaza safe (by not building something as huge as this), until you realize a child may be hit by a car.

anything more than five stories is unthinkable and two of those stories need to be under-ground.

too tall, and glass exterior is totally wrong for the neighborhood-- too commercial. None of us wants to park in a garage to go shopping.
