This isn’t Preston Center nor do the local residents want it to be. The proposed height being equivalent to a 10+ story office building should be a non-starter. Why destroy the charm and character of Snider Plaza/SMU?

I reside at 3725 Binkley Avenue.
I am VERY opposed to the building as proposed because it is TOO tall for this neighborhood, its glass exterior belongs more downtown than in the charm of Snider Plaza, and it will add significantly to an already overcrowded, dangerous intersection. I am also worried that approval of the height and design of the proposed building will set an irreversible precedent for future commercial buildings all the way up and down Hillcrest.

This looks like a great deal for the developer, but a terrible deal for the residents of the park cities. Please don't allow developers to build up in our neighborhood.

I really do miss New York City, but not this much. My concern is the building height, which would drastically change the feel and character of the area.
