This is so sad and inhumane. It is hard to believe that SMU would take such a barbaric approach. Why not spay/neuter/release and care for these cats? Keep the Feral Cat Program at SMU.

TNR has been proven to be a humane and successful method of controlling feral cat
colonies/population.
Leave the cats where they belong.

Pleas rethink the value of the feral cat population - and the inhumane methods you are using to sole the flea problem. You don't want the university to be aligned with lion killers in Africa.

Unbelievable that this could be done in a country 'considered' to be advanced! C'mon people we ARE NOT 3rd world...Please leave these cats alone, if people would not just 'dispose' of them, this would not be happening. A country-wide tax needs to be drawn and 'enforced' to help save these poor animals!

If you actually do research, removal of an established feral colony is the worst way to handle this. Please save their lives.

Feral cat popularions, if properly trapped and neutered help keep the rodent population under control without the use of chem8cals. Cats carry few diseases that affect humans and theye are more than happy to leave you alone.

As a progressive campus you too should think beyond the "easy" way out. The repercussions of removing these cats will be horrible for SMU
