DON'T do this. What kind of monsters are making these horribly inhumane decisions? This isn't feral cat 'management', it's murder.

Please stop the inhumane trapping and killing of the feral cat population on campus. Well cared for cat colonies do not pose a risk to humans. As a humane, Christian campus I expect kind treatment of all living beings. Please do the right thing and allow the cats to live in harmony. Thank you,

I am appalled at this! I am a current SMU Doctoral student and an animal lover as well. This makes me sick.

There is no way that what you are doing is right. Not to your students, not to the community and mostly, not to any god you believe in.

What you are doing to the cats or any other animal is no different than what planned parenthood is doing to BABIES. We as human beings, are responsible for caring for animals and people, not MURDERING them when there is an alternative. Yes, I said MURDERING. SMU, you should be better than that. There are thousands of STUDENTS learning from your example. Have you all gone mad with the rest of the world?

Shame on you SMU! One of the wealthiest universities in the country and this is THE ONLY solution you could come up with!

Don't destroy or remove the feral cats. The fleas may be an issue but they can be controlled. Think of the other issues you will have without them.

Not only is this inhumane, but it will cause a bigger problem than is already faced as other ferals come in to the recently emptied territory.

don't be heartless be innovative this is a college you can have students to come up with a program to help these cats rather than to destroy them or send them out
