Finally...someone else with common sense. I dont understand why banning smoking cigaretes has be so successful, but someone can pollute the whole neighborhod and we have no recourse. I've been told by my councilman to close my windows. I support someone else's right to enjoy thier own property, but they need to equally support my right to enjoy my property INSIDE MY HOME! Sorry, when your smoke infringes on the inside of my home, I think my right trumps yours.

I can't open my own windows without the smell of a burning fire flowing through my house. Yes, it should be banned.

Deborah, please edit and put a "-" between smoke and free, i.e., "smoke-free air" That will remove some confusion for this great petition. Couldn't agree with the other comments more. Noxious fire pits for entertainment is a ridiculous and harmful fad.
People need fresh air, no one needs a smoky fire.

I am in total agreement there should be a ban on Firepits. I leave in Illinois and want them gone. wondering how this was even allowed? It is an Environmental/Health HAZARD. I CAN'T BREATH IN MY OWN HOME!!!
